Purple Bike
Astrovan, Purple Bike was created closely with vocalist Jai De Jager and the band. Inspired by Bicycle Day, the story of Albert Hofmann, the first person to experience LSD, and its iconic graphic. The artwork reimagines the same character to reflect the song. With Rubra flowers in the background, appearing throughout Astrovan as a visual symbol tied to the track.

Concept
Encompassing Violent Soho a rock band, the work carries texture, grit, and grime. In my personal style, I’m drawn to using living animals within photography, creating a relaxed, eerie atmosphere. Almost like a modern form of taxidermy, capturing them in a moment.

Focusing on the colours and hand-drawn textures to captor the fun, floaty, and light style i was aiming to achieve.
